Betting Game Rules

Entry Fee - $5.00 per quarter / $20.00 per game  

4 Quarters

There are four quarters in each game.  

A quarter ends when one team successfully make its to the end of the field and scores a touchdown (TD) and the extra point is kicked.

A facilitator

When the facilitator / Referee makes a call there are no reviews and discussions about that call the call is final.

How to Roll The Dice

A cup is provided all 8 dice must be placed inside the cup with two hands and rolled out of the cup all at once onto the field of play to move their team.

Field of play is inside the football field boundaries in red from left to right and from touchdown to touchdown.

No Slow Rolls allowed or when a person barely rolls the dice out of the cup very slowly.

How To Move

Each Game field dice showing moves that player with that number.

Each are worth 10 yards, depending how many game field numbers are rolled each time each player moves accordingly.

Each player rolls one dice to find what lane they will be playing from - called the game field number. After each quarter, re-roll to determine the game field number you will use next.

Note: that way one player doesn’t have to stay on the number they don’t like for the whole game.

Battle!

When two teams in the same lane meet while traveling in opposite directions before passing each other they must do Battle.  The battle is as follows. The two teams roll 3 (8) sided dice and the highest total count wins, loser moves back 10 yards and pauses for one roll.

Example: The next player schedule to roll hits the person who lost the battle lane number he does not get to move forward one turn.

How to Score
Touchdown - 6 Points

A player reaches the end zone from the start position to the TD placement on the field. The player must then choose to go for the extra point or 2-point conversion.

Extra Point - 1 Point

The triangle Football is used to kick extra points through the goal post.

All extra-point kicks are made behind that start goal line area.

Using 2 hands, setup the triangle Football behind the start goal line area and flick! If you successfully make it through the goal post, your team is awarded 1 point.

2-point conversion - 2 Points

A player that scores can choose to go for the 2-point conversion he uses the spinner and picks odd or even # and spin the spinner that’s provided. If the player successfully guesses, their team is awarded 2 points.

How To Win

The team with the most points at the end of 4 quarters is the winner.

 

Ties

If more than one team makes a TD a kick play-off must occur to determine a winner. If both players miss or make their kick, then they must move back 30 yards & re-kick again to determine the winner. Both players will keep Moving back 30 yards till a winner is determined. After two consecutive kicks, one player can select to go for the two-point conversion.

Penalties

Out of Bounds

If any of the 8 dice stops moving off the field of play that Roller is penalized 10 yards per dice not in the field of play. Markers are marked in red, left, right, top & bottom. Everyone else number moves to their corresponding field Game number. The dice that fell off the field of play is not re-rolled but is counted where it lies. Do not touch the dice until the number is determined.

Pass interference

If any player that is playing standing around the board game but not rolling the dice touches the dice before the dice is recognized what number it is for any reason during the other players game play roll is considered a pass interference penalty it is assessed to their player for an automatic Minus 20 yards. (No Slow Rolls allowed). If someone rolls out of turn a 10-yard penalty is assessed. Slow rolls are minus 10 yards.

Delay of Game

When a Player takes too long to roll when it’s their turn Loss of turn and 10-yard Penalty No more than 30 Seconds between rolls. Even when they do a bathroom break if they don’t make it back in time lost of turn and must pause for one roll.

Blocking in The Back

If a Player during his turn rolls the dice properly out of the Cup and into the field of play and it hits and moves another player’s helmet from the rear of the helmet any other team but his own a 10-yard penalty is assessed to him for Blocking in the back.

Note: A dice that is rolled from the cup can come to rest against another person’s helmet. The Referee will make that determination if the dice made the helmet move.

Personal Foul

If any player picks up any other person helmet but his own team a 20-yard penalty is assessed to that owner of that helmet called Personal Foul Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

Hands to the face

When a dice is rolled out of the cup and hits the front of a Helmet from any other team then his own a penalty is assessed 10 yards.

Too many men on the field

When a person rolls out of the cup at any time more or less than the 8 dice for each represented player. Gets a 10-yard penalty.

Moving your Helmet

Each player is responsible for moving their own Helmet.

Quarter back Sitting the Bench

If your team has not left the starting position after four downs your quarter back / team must sit out the remaining of that quarter. This can occur in all four quarters.

The Challenge Flag

Each player receives the one-time ability to use the challenge flag throughout the match. Any player can throw the challenge flag.

The Referee must announce Odd or Even then spin the spinner whatever he called out loud lands on it. The Ref. announces "After further review the call stands". If he misses then "After further review the call is over turned" is announced and no penalty is assessed.

Specialty Rolls

Hail Mary

If a player rolls all 8 dice of any number 1- 8 and are all the same number, he scores a TD. The player other than the roller on that game field number is only allowed to move no more than 30 yards and if he reaches the end zone with the 30 then he ties the score. Refer to Ties to determine the winner of the quarter.

Bro Roll

When every dice has a different number, you get an extra 10 yards.

Join the Party Roll

When a person rolls three doubles but none of the dice land on his field number, he gets to move 30 yards to join the party. (But not extra yards)

Split Roll

When a person rolls 2 sets of three dice the same. You have two options to move forward 20 extra yards or choose one player to be penalized 20 yards for such great coaching. The team with the corresponding field Numbers, that was rolled does move forward if he wasn’t chosen for a penalty on that roll. (The roller can’t have both or any extra yards).
